Q. When and how did you start working in this business?
A. I was a wedding specialist for Swoozie's for four years starting in 2006. I loved working with the paper and the customers and helping be a part of their special day. Then I started filling in for our graphic designer and absolutely loved the creative end of things where I could actually design. In the spring of 2010, I started an Etsy shop and it has continued to grow enough that I no longer work outside of running my own business. I stay very busy throughout the year and feel so fortunate that I get to do what I love.

Q. What is your signature style?
A. I love modern and colorful paper items, but think there is beauty in every style of paper design. I would say my personal design style leans towards contemporary and uses numerous fonts and colors to create the perfect invitation or piece of stationery.

Q. What are your most popular stationery offerings?

A. I sell two different styles of Lips and Mustache notecards that are a huge hit. These are perfect for the newly engaged, just married or the well-established couple. They sell daily to buyers all over the globe, so it's fun to know my cards are being sent to people all over the world.

Q. Please share the direction your line will be taking.
A. I would like to start getting my line of stationery and invitations into retail stores as a special order item. I also would like to pursue some other avenues, such as personalized plates and placemats, recipe cards and boxes that can be personalized, calendars, etc. I have so many thoughts and dreams that I hope in the future will come to fruition.

Q. If you couldn't do this, what would you do instead?
A. If I weren't able to design for Itsy Bitsy Paper, I would be a stay-at-home mom helping my friends and family plan parties, designing invitations for those parties and pursuing my love of crafting and blogging.
